Design Engineering

Capillary Glass and Plastic Tubing
Drummond glass capillary tubing set the industry standard for precision. Glass capillary tubing is available to specification in a wide range of IDs from .089 mm to 3 mm and in any length specified. We can now produce polycarbonate plastic tubing in limited sizes and tolerances. Please call for details.
Mylar® Wrapped Glass Capillary Tubing
For applications which require glass but, because of safety or other considerations, Drummond can provide a glass capillary with a Mylar® plastic wrapping. The rugged transparent wrapping reduces the chance of breakage and provides an added level of protection should breakage occur.
Injection Molded Plastic Components
Drummonds state-of-the-art injection molding equipment is sized to permit both low and high volume cost effective production runs. Located in an environmentally controlled clean manufacturing facility, we have the capability to produce a wide range of custom components in HDPE, LDPE, and PP.
Electronic Control Mechanisms
Drummond can custom design and produce electronic fluid control and pumping mechanisms to specification. We specialize in precision systems required to dispense and aspirate small amounts of liquid. GMP assembly and testing procedures ensure maximum reliability.
